Instant Pot (Pressure Cooker) Country Style BBQ Ribs
Chrysti Benner
These Instant Pot BBQ country style ribs cook in minutes in the pressure cooker! You'll love how tender and delicious they are, without slow cooking for hours.
Pour in barbecue sauce, water, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring to combine well.
Secure lid on Instant Pot and set vent to "sealed."
Using the manual setting, select an 8 minute cook time.
Once cook time is complete, turn unit off and allow a natural pressure release.
After pressure has release and valve has dropped, carefully remove lid.
If you desire the sauce to be a bit thicker, remove ribs to a plate and select the saute function. Whisk cornstarch and water together in a small bowl to create a slurry. Add mixture to the sauce in the insert pot, stirring well to combine. Allow sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until thickened to your liking. Return ribs to pot, stirring to coat with sauce.
Serve over rice, pasta, or potatoes.

Notes
I most often use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, but choose whatever variety of BBQ sauce you prefer. Since it's a predominant flavor in this recipe, it's important that you use a version you like.
