Preheat oven to 325F and grease an 8x8" baking dish.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. With a spatula or wooden spoon, mix the ingredients together until fully incorporated.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 39-43 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
These brownies are thick, moist, and cake-like.
Feel free to add some chocolate chips to the batter if you'd like--you can mix them into the batter or simply sprinkle them over the top of the batter before baking.
Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
I prefer to use Ghirardelli brownie mix or Aldi's Specially Selected brownie mix.
