INGREDIENTS

– Unsalted butter – Granulated sugar – Egg – Lemon zest

Cream butter and sugar. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.

Beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.

With the mixer on medium-low speed, add in egg and lemon zest.

Beat eggs until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Add the flour to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until combined into a soft dough.
