There’s just something about a batch of fresh coffee donuts that makes a morning feel a little more relaxed.

The flavor of freshly brewed coffee is hard to beat, and I love adding it to sweet desserts like coffee cupcakes and Ninja Creami coffee ice cream.

But it’s especially lovely in the morning, and you can easily have these donuts baking in the oven in just a few minutes.

I love that these come together with Bisquick, which is one of my favorite baking shortcuts. It keeps things easy while still giving you the soft, tender texture you want in a donut.

These coffee flavored donuts have just enough richness from the sour cream and just enough coffee flavor to make them feel extra special, even though they’re simple to make.

And the coffee glaze gives them a smooth, lightly sweet finish that really brings everything together. Once they’re dipped and set, they have a bakery-style look and taste!

Coffee Donuts Made with Bisquick

Coffee donuts made with Bisquick are the kind of thing you can plan ahead to make for a slow morning at home or simply whip them up on a whim.

They’re easy enough to prepare on short notice. And they still come out feeling like something you’d serve to a dear friend alongside a pot of coffee.

They also travel well, which makes them a great option for sharing. Bake a batch for a bible study or bring a plate into the office.

Soft, lightly sweet, and full of coffee flavor, they’re a simple way to make an ordinary day feel just a bit more thoughtful.
