Coat the Chex mix. Last, you’ll add the Chex mix to the bag. Shake the bag vigorously, ensuring that all of the powdered sugar mixture is evenly coated over the Chex cereal.

Once coated, add the graham cracker crumbs to the bag. Seal the bag and shake well.

Spread coated cereal on parchment paper, ensuring an even layer so that your cereal will cool and dry completely, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes and Adaptations:

  • Feel free to add extra mix-ins once the white chocolate has cooled and hardened. You could add freeze-dried strawberries, red M&Ms, yogurt covered pretzels, mini marshmallows, etc.
  • White chocolate can be difficult to work with, as it can sometimes seize up and harden when heating. I’ve found using high-quality white chocolate or chocolate melting wafers works best, along with heating for short increments of time. Even if your chocolate seizes up a bit, you can likely still mix it into the cereal.
