Because this is a no-bake dip that requires no cooking, it’s super easy to whip it up ahead of time and pop it in the fridge until you need it.

It keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, so simply mix the ingredients and cover it with plastic wrap.

How to Make Halloween Dessert Dip

It’s really easy to make this ghoulish treat.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Whipped Topping (Cool Whip)
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • Milk
  • Neon Green Food Coloring
  • For Garnish: Halloween Sprinkles, Candy Eyes, Gummy Worms

How to Make It:

Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar. First, you’ll use an electric mixer to beat the powdered sugar and cream cheese together until smooth.

Combine pudding mix and milk. Next, in a separate bowl, you’ll whisk together pudding mix and milk until it’s completely smooth and starting to thicken.

Then you’ll add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture, beating well until smooth and creamy.

Finish the dip. Last, you’ll use a spatula to fold the whipped topping and food coloring into the mixture, until it’s fully combined and no streaks remain.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill for 30 minutes.

Notes and Adaptations

  • Serve with dippers of choice, such as: apple slices, fresh strawberries, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, marshmallows, pretzels, or Halloween cookies.
  • Optional: Serve in individual cauldron cups for parties. I think this skeleton bowl would also be cute!
  • Sugar-free vanilla pudding works just as well and is a great lower-sugar option.
  • You can skip the food coloring if preferred–the dip will just be a light creamy color. For Halloween flair, though, the green adds a fun witch-y vibe.

This fluffy, creamy Halloween dessert dip is perfect for serving with fruit, crackers, cookies, or pretzels! It's spooky, delicious, and easy to make, so both kids and adults will enjoy it.

Ingredients
 

  • 8 ounce block cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounce whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • 3.4 ounce instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • Neon green gel food coloring
  • For garnish: Halloween sprinkles (purple, green, black, etc.), candy eyeballs, gummy worms

Instructions

  • Add cream cheese to a medium mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add powdered sugar and beat again until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk for about 2-3 minutes, until smooth and beginning to thicken.
  • Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture and beat on low speed until smooth.
  • Use a spatula to fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and no streaks remain.
  • Add neon green food coloring to reach your desired spooky shade and stir until evenly tinted.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes if desired, or serve immediately.
  • Before serving, top with Halloween sprinkles, candy eyeballs, and gummy worms.
