They are incredibly useful for using in casserole and dishes that call for shredded or cubed chicken.

How to Reheat a Whole Costco Chicken
It’s really easy to reheat rotisserie chicken in your Instant Pot.

- Rotisserie Chicken
How to Make It:
(Full printable recipe is available below)
Add water. First, you’ll pour water or broth into the insert pot of the Instant Pot. Set the trivet in place.
Add the chicken. Next, you’ll add the rotisserie chicken onto the trivet. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the vent to the sealed position.
Steam cook. Last, you’ll use the Steam function and select a cook time of 10 minutes. When cook time is complete, perform a quick release of pressure and serve.
Optional: Make a gravy out of the liquid used to reheat the chicken. If you’d like to do this, start by using chicken broth instead of water when reheating the chicken.
Add a few seasonings (I use 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/8 tsp ground thyme, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder) to the broth prior to reheating the chicken.
Once chicken is reheated, lift it out and add a slurry of 2 TBSP cornstarch + 2 TBSP water to the broth. Use the Saute function to simmer the broth, whisking constantly until thickened.
Taste and add salt if needed.
Notes and Adaptations:
- The amount of time needed to heat the chicken through will depend on how cold it is and how big it is. If it’s a large chicken that’s coming straight out of the refrigerator, it may take a few more minutes. If it’s a smaller chicken that just isn’t quite hot enough by the time you get home from the grocery store, it will take a shorter amount of time.
- If after 10 minutes your chicken is not heated all the way through, close the lid and add a couple more minutes of steam time.

Simply brilliant! Major bonus is making gravy after reheating. I like gravy with anything, so when I would buy a rotisserie whole chicken, I’d buy a jar of gravy. Made it tonight and it’s delicious. This is so much better and healthier. I am learning so much from your posts, Melanie. Thank you for sharing your experiences with your followers.

Thank you! Simple and delicious—— better than straight out of the market.
Easy gravy with bone broth and a bit of better than bullion and a little slurry.
Another use for my under-utilized instant pot.
