How to Make Brownies with Bisquick

It’s really easy to make this sweet treat!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Unsalted Butter
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Bisquick Baking Mix
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Semisweet Chocolate Chips

How to Make It:

Prepare the wet ingredients. First, you’ll beat together melted butter and sugar until combined.

Add the eggs. Next, you’ll add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well to incorporate.

Add the dry ingredients. Next, you’ll add Bisquick baking mix and cocoa powder to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until incorporated.

Fold in the chocolate chips. Then, you’ll fold in the chocolate chips until combined.

Bake the brownies. Last, you’ll pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes and Adaptations:

  • Feel free to change the type of chocolate chips to suit your preference. You can also increase the amount of chocolate chips to 3/4 cup if you want these to be extra chocolatey!
  • You can add chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, to the batter if desired, in addition to or instead of the chocolate chips.
  • If you don’t have Bisquick on hand, you can make your own homemade Bisquick baking mix.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8x8" baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat together melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well to incorporate.
  4. Add Bisquick baking mix and cocoa powder to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until incorporated.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.

  1. I have several homemade brownies recipes that I depend on but I had Bisquick I needed to use up so found this interesting recipe. I added extras chocolate chips on top, and pecans and doubled the recipe for a 9×13 pan. Man, these were awesome. I cannot believe a Bisquick brownie turned out as good as my other recipes!
