Is there any cookie more classic than a chocolate chip cookie?
I think not.

How to Make Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies
It’s really easy to make these simple cookies! You just need a handful of ingredients.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make It:
(Full printable recipe is available below)
Cream butter and sugar. First, you’ll cream together the butter and both sugars in the bowl of a stand mixer. Then, add in the egg and egg yolk and mix until incorporated. If you don’t have brown sugar on hand, check out my chocolate chip cookies recipe without brown sugar.
Add dry ingredients. Next, with the mixer on low speed, you’ll add the Bisquick baking mix, just until combined. Then, add in the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Bake and cool. Scoop out the dough with a 1/4 cup measuring cup. Roll the dough into a ball, then tear the ball in half. Place each half on a prepared baking sheet, with the torn edges facing up.

Bake at 375F for about 9-11 minutes, until the edges are starting to turn golden-brown but the centers of the tops are still soft.

Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes and Adaptations:
- I have not personally tried this with the gluten-free Bisquick mix, so I don’t know for sure how it would work. If you try it, I’d love to know how it turned out for you!
